In 2025, a new season kicks off full of excitement, challenges, and major cash prizes.

Join the two official tournaments of the Club de Yates y Pesca Challenge 2025, where you’ll compete for outstanding catches and have the chance to earn important recognition.

TOURNAMENT DATES:
• 1st Tournament: August 15–16, 2025
• 2nd Tournament: September 12–13, 2025

CATEGORIES:

1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in all categories.

1st Fishing Tournament – August 15–16:
• Billfish Category (Highest Release Score)
• Gamefish Category: Dorado, Tuna, Amberjack, Wahoo, Snapper, Mackerel (Heaviest Catch)
• Youth Category (for participants under 16 years old)

2nd Fishing Tournament – September 12–13:
• Billfish Category (Highest Release Score)
• Gamefish Category: Dorado, Tuna, Amberjack, Wahoo, Snapper, Mackerel (Heaviest Catch)
• Youth Category (for participants under 16 years old)

Additional Club de Yates y Pesca Challenge Awards:
• Top Boat Billfish (Highest Total Release Score)
• Top Boat Sailfish (Highest Total Release Score for Sailfish)
• Top Boat Marlin (Highest Total Release Score for Marlin)
• Top Boat Dorado (Combined weight of top 3 heaviest Dorado)
• Top Boat Wahoo (Combined weight of top 3 heaviest Wahoo)
• Top Boat Tuna (Combined weight of top 3 heaviest Tuna)
• Top Boat Amberjack (Combined weight of top 3 heaviest Amberjack)
• Top Junior Angler
• Top Female Angler

Registration Fees by Category:

Combined Billfish + Gamefish Category:
• CYP CHALLENGE Billfish + Gamefish (includes both tournaments): $3,000

Gamefish Category:
• CYP CHALLENGE Gamefish (includes both tournaments): $700

The Gamefish and Youth categories apply only to catches of Dorado, Tuna, Amberjack, Wahoo, Snapper, and Mackerel.
